Lifetime has released the trailer and premiere date for its three-part “Surviving R. Kelly” follow up, now titled “The Reckoning.” According to The Hollywood Reporter, the new series, which will air over three nights beginning January 2 at 9 p.m. Eastern, will include new interviews with survivors of Kelly’s alleged abuse, as well as industry figures like Damon Dash and Matthew Knowles, and more. R. Kelly’s ex-wife, Drea Kelly, believes the new trailer for the next part of the documentary is misleading and not entirely truthful. "She has no involvement, did not approve any footage or stills of her likeness and is not actively promoting, nor consulting the follow-up series", reads a statement from Drea's rep.
