Antonio Brown Accused of Raping Former Trainer

A woman who used to train New England Patriots wide receiver Antonio Brown has accused the NFL star of rape in a federal lawsuit filed in Florida on Tuesday. Brown, 31, was slated to practice Wednesday with his new team for the first time when his former trainer, Britney Taylor, filed the lawsuit accusing Brown of sexually assaulting her on three separate occasions in 2017 and ‘18. The lawsuit alleges that Brown first exposed himself to and then kissed the woman without her consent in June 2017 while at one of his homes in the Pittsburgh area. Later that same month, she alleged that she and Brown were at his Miami home watching a religious video when she said he masturbated behind her without her knowledge and then ejaculated on her back. Brown's attorney, Darren Heitner, issued a statement saying Brown "denies each and every allegation in the lawsuit." Further, Heitner said, Brown will be pursuing "all legal remedies" to clear his name. The Patriots also released a statement on the matter: “We take these allegations very seriously. … The league has informed us that they will be investigating.”
