Missy Elliott has been hit with a lawsuit by an author who claims that the rapper used her image for her 2016 single “Pep Rally” without her permission. In her lawsuit, Jodi Pliska stated on Elliott’s “Pep Rally” single cover, her bald head is being used without her permission. According to reports, Jodi Pliska claims the specific image is from a modeling shoot she completed years ago, and the image on Elliott’s chest is from there. TMZ reports that Jodi Pliszka is now requesting unspecified damages; she has also named Missy’s record label Atlantic Records in the suit.
