Wendy Williams has once again delayed her return to daytime television following her injury. The Wendy Williams Show will return on January 14, but with a panel of 'Hot Talkers' slated to serve in Williams' absence, she will return a week later on January 21. The talk show host has been on the mend for the past few weeks, after suffering an arm injury in December. “As she has for the past 10 years, Wendy delivers an incomparable live talk show day in and day out and we want to give her the best opportunity to heal and recover,” Debmar-Mercury co-presidents Mort Marcus and Ira Bernstein said. “Wendy has our complete and unwavering support and we look forward to her return to the iconic purple chair.”
