Via NYDN:
Russell Simmons, who allegedly sexually assaulted a 17-year-old model in 1991, urged Terry Crews to forgive the agent who he says groped him.
“Did he ever apologize? Give the agent a pass. Ask that he be reinstated,” Simmons said in an email to Crews after he claimed that Adam Venit grabbed his crotch at a party in February 2016.
“With great love, all things possible.”
Venit has since been put on leave from WME.

Crews’ post came just hours after a Los Angeles Times article in which former model Keri Claussen Khalighi claimed that Simmons assaulted her in 1991.
Khalighi claims that she went out for dinner with Simmons and Brett Ratner, then returned to Simmons’ apartment, where he made her undress.
“I looked over at Brett and said ‘Help me’ and I’ll never forget the look on his face,” she told the newspaper. “In that moment, the realization fell on me that they were in it together.”
