Giants reserve offensive lineman Michael Bowie has been booked on a domestic assault and property damage charges, according to Tulsa (Okla.) County Jail records. Tulsa’s KOTV-6 had reported that Bowie allegedly grabbed his girlfriend by the throat, threw her to the ground, punched a hole in the wall and broke two televisions earlier this summer. According to The Tulsa World, "Tulsa County Assistant District Attorney Kenneth Elmore said reports about the incident indicate a fight between Bowie and his girlfriend began over finances, but then became physical when Bowie's girlfriend made a remark about his mother." Bowie was released at 12:07 p.m. Central time, according to jail records. Bond had been set at $17,000.
