Following the events surrounding the white nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Solange deleted her Twitter account with a call to action. In her last message before deactivating her Twitter account, Solange mentioned Takiya Thompson. Thompson, an activist, was arrested on Monday after helping topple a Confederate statue in Durham, North Carolina on Monday.
