Issa Rae has responded to complaints that Insecure's sex scenes lack condoms. Fans were mad this past Sunday when Lawrence (Jay Ellis) didn’t appear to use a condom during a threesome with two random women from a grocery store. “We tend to place condoms in the backgrounds of scenes or imply them,” Rae, 32, tweeted, along with a screengrab of condoms on a dresser in the scene. “But we hear you guys and will do better next season.”
