Last year, Trey Songz was charged with one count of assaulting a police officer and one count of aggravated assault after he allegedly punched a cop and started throwing things when his mic was cut off during a concert last year at Detroit’s Joe Louis Arena. When police approached the crooner, he allegedly hit an officer and caused a concussion. On Tuesday, a Wayne County Circuit Court judge ruled to allow Snapchat video and still photography in the forthcoming assault trial against the singer. According to WDIV, one photo shows Songz apparently giving the middle finger to police during his booking photo. A video from a Las Vegas show features the singer saying, "F*** the police." He is reportedly awaiting his next court date while his trial has been scheduled for Sept. 12. Songz' rep offered no comment.
