Former Love & Hip Hop star Tahiry Jose was arrested on her birthday (May 5) for assaulting her house guest. Tahiry allegedly punched the woman, who was staying in her New Jersey home, in the face and pulled her hair. The woman had “reddish bruises” on the right side of her face, according to the police report. Tahiry claims she was the victim, and was defending herself. She claims she got home and the woman whom she’d just recently allowed to stay with her jumped her and started breaking things in the home.Tahiry was released from jail the next day, May 6, and said that she plans on pressing charges against the roommate.
