The Matrix is reportedly the next film set to be remade, according to The Hollywood Reporter, and Warner Bros. is apparently eyeing Michael B. Jordan. At this point, the Wachowski siblings, who wrote and directed the original and its two sequels, are not involved and the nature of their potential engagement with a new version has not been determined. Jordan is currently shooting in Atlanta as Erik Killmonger for the upcoming Black Panther film and has not responded to the rumors.
