MEEK MILL (2/7/24)

Robert Rihmeek Williams, who is popularly known as Meek Mill, was born and raised in North Philadelphia. Meek first made a name in the rap game as battle or street rapper. Shortly after forming a short lived group called the Bloodhoundz, he signed to his first label by rapper, T.I. in 2008. In 2011, he signed with Miami based rapper, Rick Ross to Maybach Music Group (MMG) but eventually started his own label called: ‘DreamChasers’.

In November of 2018, Meek released his biggest solo album, ‘Championships’, which debuted at Number 1 on the Billboard Hip Hop & R&B charts, and contained features from Jay-Z, Fabolous, Cardi B, Rick Ross. In 2020 he made his feature film debut in the movie, Charm City Kings.

His Reform Alliance initiative that he co-founded with Jay-Z in 2019 is extremely active in seeking to change how harsh and unfair the criminal justice system has historically been to victims of color. He released his latest mixtape with Rick Ross, ‘Shaq and Kobe’ in the fall of 2023, and is working on a new solo project slated to drop this spring.
