Philly’s Power 99 is celebrating Black History Month by shouting out some of our favorite sons and daughters throughout the month of February with The Power List. Some of the biggest names in the world of music, entertainment, politics and the arts that hail from Philly or the surrounding Tri-State area.

Boyz II Men remains one of the most truly iconic R&B groups in music history. The group redefined popular R&B and continues to create timeless hits that appeal to fans across all generations. For their 20th anniversary just last year, the band went on tour and performed some of their most celebrated classics of the past two decades. They continue to perform worldwide, as a trio and in June 2017. There is a section of Broad Street, near their alma mater High School for Creative and Performing Arts, renamed: "Boyz II Men Boulevard”. They continue to have a Las Vegas residency that is amongst the most popular and well attended shows on the Las Vegas Strip.
