Philly’s Power 99 is celebrating Black History Month by shouting out some of our favorite sons and daughters throughout the month of February with The Power List. Some of the biggest names in the world of music, entertainment, politics and the arts that hail from Philly or the surrounding Tri-State area.

Markeiff & Marcus Morris are twins born on September 2nd in 1989 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. They both play professional basketball in the NBA. Markeiff plays for the Washington Wizards and Marcus plays for the Boston Celtics. Marcus is 6’9’ and played college basketball at the University of Kansas before being drafted 14th overall in the 2011 NBA draft. Markeiff Morris also attended the University in Kansas and was drafted 13th in the same draft by the Phoenix Suns. The Morris twins both reside and live together in Los Angeles, where Markieff is a member of the Los Angeles Clippers, and Marcus is a member of the 2020 World Champion Los Angeles Lakers.
