Philly’s Power 99 is celebrating Black History Month by shouting out some of our favorite sons and daughters throughout the month of February with The Power List. Some of the biggest names in the world of music, entertainment, politics and the arts that hail from Philly or the surrounding Tri-State area.

FEBRUARY 5, 2021:

Orlando Tucker better known as Jahlil Beats, is a hip-hop record producer and songwriter from Chester, Pennsylvania right outside of Pennsylvania. At the age of 12, he started learning audio engineering and built a passion for music under the guidance of his father and cousin. Jalil Beats is currently signed to Jay-Z's Roc Nation. He has produced for many OG artists such as: Jay-Z, Diddy, Lil Wayne, Fabolous, and Chris Brown etc. He is best known for producing Meek Mill's "Ima Boss” and "Burn”, and Lloyd Banks’ "Jackpot", which was more famously sampled by Bobby Shmurda as the beat for Bobby's hit single "Hot Boy".
