Slim Shady will be the first artist viewers see on Wednesday night when the Detroit rapper kicks off the show with a live performance. It’s fitting considering the 8 Mile artist has earned nominations in eight different categories including Video of the Year, Best Hip-Hop, Song of the Summer and VMAs Most Iconic Performance.

It all goes down Wednesday night at 8 p.m. (ET), live from the UBS Arena in New York. Other previously announced performers include Anitta, LL Cool J, and GloRilla. The show will be hosted by Megan Thee Stallion.
