Our long national nightmare is over. We've survived the off-season and now, finally, NFL football is back.

• Tonight's Game... Tonight (Thursday), the Detroit Lions square off against the Kansas City Chiefs in Game 1 of the 2023 NFL season. The game is in Kansas City and will be broadcast on NBC and Peacock, with the defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs favored to win the game.

• Super Bowl Odds... Speaking of odds, we start the season with the Chiefs also favored to win Super Bowl 58 at +600. Vegas also likes the Eagles at +750 and the Bills at +900. Vegas does NOT like the Arizona Cardinals, Houston Texans or the Indianapolis Colts, with all teams facing long odds. The Cardinals are the worst, sitting at +40,000 to win it all.
