TeeRoy's 2 Cents:
- What about Boosieâs barber? Isn't he the real creator?
- It's gonna be tough to prove that not only was he the first to get the haircut but that filmmakers are profiting off of it.
- Then again, there are tons of videos on YouTube all about how to get a crisp Boosie Fade. At least some of those creators are earning revenue off of those clips.
- Good luck with that one.
- This is the goofiest lawsuit I've ever heard. Who is going to see a movie because of a haircut? (Except maybe Edward Scissorhands or Sweeney Todd.)
On BETâs Raq Rants, he talked about trying to sue folks who are making dough off his âdo. Apparently the average Joe will still be free to rock whatever haircut you want, but Hollywood is on notice.
Boosie says, âItâs just if you go on movies and things like that thatâs gonâ be successful, I gotta file on you and put my lawyer on you. I gonâ hate⊠If you go to Hollywood, [people are] doing $60 million movies and the Boosie Fade [is] a big part of that project.â
If you let Boosie tell it, itâs just like stealing someoneâs music without permission. âSame thing if somebody take Marvin Gayeâs song⊠I started this. This mine.â
