- If I were the D.A., I wouldn't be inclined to make a deal.
- This crime is so bad that he couldn't even get a celebrity attorney to do the work pro bono.

A Florida grand jury has made it official -- Nikolas Cruz has been indicted in the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting.
He's charged with 17 counts of first-degree murder and 17 counts of attempted murder for his attack in Parkland, Florida on February 14th. He could face the death penalty, but his attorney says he's willing to entertain a guilty plea to avoid execution.
Public Defender Howard Finkelstein says the 19-year-old is extremely remorseful for his attack, which he's already confessed to. (USA Today)
