TeeRoy's 2 Cents:
- As long as it took to get to that gold medal total, we shouldn't feel too bad as the country with the most Winter Olympic gold medals -- Norway -- only has 121. They're not that far ahead of us.
- Then again, Norway only has about five million people -- while the U.S. has 323 million.
- There’s almost always sadness when you compare yourself to others, isn’t there?
THE U.S. FINALLY WON ITS 100th WINTER OLYMPIC GOLD MEDAL
Believe it or not, it took the United States 94 years to win 100 Winter Olympics gold medals.
Number 100 was Shaun White’s victory in the Men’s Halfpipe Snowboarding event -- and it took 23 total Olympics, dating back to 1924, to hit that milestone. (Yahoo Sports)
