After people paid a crazy amount of money, not just for tickets to the festival, but also for flights & hotel stay, this $100 million lawsuit isn't a surprise.
According to ABC News, the lawsuit was filed on Sunday (April 30). It states that the organizers of Fyre Festival committed multiple acts of fraud and said the event's "lack of adequate food, water, shelter, and medical care created a dangerous and panicked situation among attendees—suddenly finding themselves stranded on a remote island without basic provisions."
The lawsuit was filed by, Daniel Jung, and its on behalf of all of the Fyre Festival's attendees who were promised a "supermodel-filled luxury concert event," but got an event similar to the “The Hunger Games,” instead.
Another not surprising turn in this nightmare is the fact that lawyer, Mark Geragos, has taken on the case. His name should sound familiar sincehe represented the likes of Michael Jackson, Chris Brown, Ke$ha, Winona Ryder and more. Take a look at some of the lawsuit's legal documents below.
