First Grader Turned Away from Christian School because of His Dreadlocks
How can a place claim to be Christian do this to a child? Last time I checked, the motto at church was "come as you are". The young boy, who was enrolled at the private school, was turned away at the entrance on the first day of school. According to reports, the school rule book requires students to have “a tapered cut of the collar and ears” and specifically says no dreadlocks. The family denied the school's offer to keep him enrolled if he cut his hair. A damn shame...
