WTH? Man Kills Girlfriend's Husband After Being Pranked
This situation is just a mess.
Don't cheat on your significant other and don't prank people.
It always ends bad.
A Texas man is accused of stabbing and beating his girlfriend's husband to death after being the victim of a prank.
Jason Maas, whose wife was dating Thomas Rolle, hid one of their cars and swiped Rolle's identification card before he was murdered on Sunday, according to Harris County charging documents.
A witness told investigators that Rolle threatened Maas with phone calls and text messages regarding the theft of the ID card.
Maas agreed to meet Rolle in order to return the stolen ID, and he never returned to his motel.
His body was found in the parking lot of a credit union in Harris County, and Rolle confessed to the brutal slaying to a friend.
"Thomas Rolle told her he stabbed a guy because the guy played a prank on him and took his identification," according to the charging document.
Rolle told the friend that Maas was dead and that she would see what happened on the TV news.
A witness told cops that she gave bleach to Rolle and watched him try to clean blood stains from his car and a folding knife. She also said that Rolle gave her a blood-stained firearm that was used to strike Maas. Rolle asked her to "broker" the sale of the firearm to help fund his escape from town, she said.
Rolle was arrested on Monday and charged with murder. -(David Boroff, NY Daily News)
