Texas authorities are investigating after discovering inmates with bottles of whisky and packaged snacks this week.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office says it found out that inmates were sneaking out of prison and stealing food, alcohol and more from a local rancher then bringing it back to share.
Of the food items confiscated were three bottles of brandy, a bottle of whisky, multiple bags of tobacco, packaged snacks, fruit and a large amount of home cooked food. -(Natalie Newport, WBALTV11)
