SMH: Man Gave His Daughter A Gun, Told Her To Kill Herself
This is the definition of terrible parenting.
A man is in custody after he allegedly gave his own daughter a loaded gun and told her to kill herself with it.
According to News 3 Las Vegas, Ulys Laffette Bell IV of Fort Mohave is currently facing charges of felony disorderly conduct with a weapon, felony child abuse and misdemeanor endangerment.
The Mohave County Sheriff's Office said in a release obtained by the outlet that they were tipped off by school officials Monday afternoon.
Bell's 14-year-old daughter reportedly went to someone at the school and reported her father's actions.
Deputies told News 3 the girl's father admitted to having given the girl the gun and urging her to commit suicide, though he maintained that the weapon wasn't loaded.
Bell, 38, reportedly stated that he was having disciplinary issues with his daughter when he gave her the 9mm pistol and told her to pull the trigger. -(Caitlyn Hitt, NY Daily News)
