A large piece of the police evidence was a supposed video of Jenkins walking alone into the freezer where he body was eventually found.The hotel where she was found came out today and said that no such video ever existed. Police have released several video clips of Kenneka Jenkins roaming around a Chicago hotel hours before her death, but the public won't be seeing surveillance video of the teen walking into the freezer where her body was found.
A spokesperson for the Crowne Plaza Hotel told CBS Chicago that footage of the 19-year-old walking into the industrial freezer doesn't exist.
According to the spokesperson, there isn't even a camera pointed at the freezer.The new details were revealed as attorneys for Kenneka's family toured the hotel, taking pictures of the areas she walked through before she was found dead on Sept. 10.
Her mother, Teresa Martin, has repeatedly said she believes something else happened to her daughter.
