SMH: Cop Kills Man On His Graduation Night After Mistaking Pen For A Knife

Tommy Le, 20, was set to graduate from Career Link’s alternative high school on June 14. Unfortunately, he never made it to the ceremony because a King County Sheriff’s deputy gunned him down.
According to The Seattle Times, Le was fatally shot last week after he reportedly made a stabbing motion at a homeowner’s door before charging at deputies.
Officers thought Le was holding a knife when he approached them but later confirmed that it was only a pen. The Times also adds that the department won’t release a photo of the pen and did not have dashboard or body cameras.
Just two weeks ago a Seattle police officer killed pregnant mom Charleena Lyles for “approaching them with a knife.” -(Bossip)
