Watch: Man Stops Wife's Suicide Jump By Catching Her Ponytail

A Chinese man found himself in a f'ed up situation after his wife tried to jump from a balcony to her death in front of him. Luckily, she was able to catch her by her ponytail.
According to reports, she tried to wrestle free and repeatedly screamed for him to let her go. Paramedics say that by the time they came, the husbands hands were seconds away from losing their grasp.
The corresponding video, showing the rescue, has gone viral. It shows an officer climbing over a barrier to reach the jumper. His colleagues grasp his clothing so that he doesn’t fall. The woman’s husband was also outside the barrier, and officers clutched the hood of his jacket.
The South China Morning Post continues, asserting that the woman’s body rested on a 30-centimeter-wide pipe, which held some of her body weight. Police believe that if not for the pipe, she would have fallen. -(NY Daily News)
