Teenager Commits Suicide, His Manager Is Charged With Involuntary Manslaughter

This goes to show you to treat everybody with some respect.

A Dairy Queen manager has been charged with involuntary manslaughter after an employee of his, Kenneth Suttner, committed suicide. He shot himself right outside of his family's home.

According to reports, he was bullied relentlessly both at school and his job at Dairy Queen.

Six hours and 20 testimonies later, the six-person coroner’s jury offered the recommendation that Suttner’s former manager, Harley Branham, be indicted for felony involuntary manslaughter, according to the newspaper.

Former co-workers said Branham often ridiculed the teen and made him do tasks she wouldn’t request anyone else do, like cleaning the floors by hand while lying on his stomach. One fellow employee said the 21-year-old manager once threw a burger at Suttner because he made it incorrectly, the Tribune reported.

“There’s a lot of people at Dairy Queen saying I was the reason he killed himself,” Branham said, “but I don’t understand why it would be that way.”

Officers arrested her after the jury announced their verdict. If she's convicted on the felony charge she could face up to seven years in prison and a fine of $5,500. -(NY Daily News)

The school district is also under investigation for lack of anti bullying education.RIP
