Roddy Rich popped on the scene with a hot song, The Box, just a few years ago. But he is now facing some legal issues over the song. According to TMZ, he has been hit with a copyright lawsuit. It looks like Roddy as well as his producer, 30 Roc, Atlantic Records, and others are being sued by artist Greg Perry. Perry claims Roddy took certain key elements from his 1975 song called "Come On Down (Get Your Head Out Of The Clouds)" without permission for Roddy's song, The Box. Perry said both his track and Roddy's song share similar melody, form and structure and now he wants to be awarded damages.
