Cardi B Wins Lawsuit of Tatted Back Cover Art

I talked about this issue a few years ago, but a man was actually suing Cardi B over some cover art. On Cardi's 2016 Gangsta Bitch Music Vol. 1 album cover, she is seen drinking a beer while a man with a huge tattoo on his back is between her legs. Hype Beast reports, Kevin Michael Brophy Jr., was suing her for $5 million for the cover art. He was pissed because he claims his unique tattoo was digitally lifted from his back and photoshopped on the model in between Cardi's legs. Brophy is mad because he said he is married with kids and it looks like it could be him, because of his tattoo, munching on Cardi's lady parts. Cardi was present in the trial where she alleged she wasn't aware of the digital artist superimposing the tattoo on the model, who, she says is a black man and Brophy is a white guy. Cardi and her team aren't buying into this man's lawsuit, especially since the tattoo artist owns the copyright to the tattoo and he has never filed any legal claims over the album artwork. The judge basically ruled in her favor and the man lost his battle against Cardi.
