If you are a Star Wars fan, then you know the iconic James Earl Jones was the voice behind the villain and Luke Skywalker's dad, Darth Vader. Mr. Jones didn't play the actual role, but he has been voicing the character for some time. But he has decided to retire from voicing the character and according to Hip Hop Wired, he has granted permission for an AI firm to use archived files for future projects. Although Mr. Jones is of age now, we know that voice very well. He even reprised his role as Mufasa's voice in the reboot, live action movie of The Lion King. But as Mr. Jones was lending his voice to his Star Wars character in 2019 for a cameo in The Rise of Skywalker, the 91-year-old said that's when it was time to retire his voice for the villain. But he gave the okay to Disney and Lucasfilm to use his archived recordings going forward, so we will continue to hear his likeness.
