And just like that, the thrill is gone. Kanye West and GAP teamed up just a few years ago with very few items being sold. Although when Yeezy GAP hit, the items sold out pretty quickly. Even with the latest controversy over Ye putting his clothes on the sales floor in huge black bags for customers to sift through, he wanted to be different. But now, Ye, is mad. A few weeks ago, he hopped on social media ranting about GAP conducting meetings without him. Ye shared with CNBC that he is terminating his deal with GAP. Ye said GAP allegedly failed to meet its obligations in the companies’ agreement, including distributing Yeezy products in its stores by the second half of 2021 and creating dedicated Yeezy GAP, according to a letter from his lawyer. But Ye is bold and definitely doesn't give a damn, because during the interview with CNBC, Ye said he isn't going to argue with someone broker than him. Ouch! Their deal was supposed to last through 2026.
