LeBron James and Drake Hit With Lawsuit Over Documentary

We all know LeBron James and Drake dabble in the film industry these days having titles like executive producer and so forth. However, although they've both worked on several projects, they are in trouble for one. TMZ reports LeBron and Drake are being sued for $10 million. Billy Hunter, the former head of the NBA players union claims LeBron and Drake stole the rights to a movie that he had legal rights to. Hunter said he had legal rights to produce a movie about Canada's old Colored Hockey League. He claims he had a deal with authors of the book called "Black Ice: The Lost History of the Colored Hockey League of the Maritimes, 1895-1925." Hunter would produce a movie about the black players and he even paid the authors to lock up the movie rights. But he said LeBron and Drake used their production companies to go behind his back and sign a deal with the authors instead to do a documentary about the black players. But it seems like there was some miscommunication because the authors, George and Darril Fosty, said there shouldn't have been an issue because Hunter wanted to do a movie, but LeBron and Drake were doing a documentary. It sounds like Hunter needs to be suing the authors instead of LeBron and Drake.
