Deshaun Watson was has been in the news a lot because of allegations of sexual misconduct by over 20 women. He has settled over 20 lawsuits with a few of those women. However, a judge suspended the NFL player for 6 games. The NFL and the NFL Players Association however, is making an example out of Deshaun because they were able to appeal that suspension, and that's what they did. They reached a settlement and agreed that the quarterback will be suspended for 11 games, without pay, according to ESPN. But on top of that, he has to pay a fine that is the largest fine by an NFL player. Deshaun has to pay a fine of $5 million for multiple violations. Plus, Deshaun will have to undergo a mandatory evaluation by behavioral experts. It's crazy because just a week ago, he issued a public apology for the women he has "impacted" in this situation, but he still didn't sound remorseful when he apologized. His suspension will take place on Aug. 30.
