During the pandemic, Verzuz took off. It was a way and outlet that Swizz Beatz and Timbaland came up with to keep fans interested and tuned in to a friendly battle between artists. And it all started on Instagram Live. At one point it was on Instagram Live and Apple Music. But then they went from Apple to Triller. However, there seems to be some beef between Swizz, Timbaland and Thriller. The guys are suing Triller for more than $28 million, claiming Thriller failed to pay up for the idea of Verzuz, according to TMZ. There was a deal that Swizz and Timbaland agreed to sell Verzuz to Triller back in January 2021, however, Triller defaulted on the deal after only two payments. The guys are coming after Triller for more than $28 million and interest. Triller better quit messing around with these guys. So is this why we haven't gotten a Verzuz in a while?
