Last week, Will Smith issued a public apology to Chris Rock for the slap that had the world talking during the Oscars. Chris Rock hasn't really spoken about the incident, even when fans thought he'd mention the slap during comedy shows which Chris basically did right after the slap. But Chris said he already had material done and didn't talk about the slap. If anything, it's more recent that Chris has made jokes about the slap at shows. During Will's public apology, you can tell the actor had to sit with things over the past few months, to get his mind right. Will not only issued another apology to Chris, but Will apologized to Tony Rock as well as Chris' mom. Will sounds hopeful he and Chris will speak again, however, sources say Chris isn't ready to speak to Will, according to The Jasmine Brand. An insider said, "Chris doesn’t need to talk. This is clearly something that bothers Will more than Chris. Will needs to deal with his issues. Chris is fine." Another source said, "The fact that he is making jokes about it already is a good thing. That means he is assessing it. But the stress of the slap and the aftermath has not taken over his life. Quite the opposite." Would you have accepted Will's apology?
