Two More Teens, Girls, Turn Themselves in After Traffic Cone Death

This week, a 14-year-old was charged with murder for beating James Lambert, Jr. with a traffic cone. Lambert died the next day from his injuries when a group of young teens and kid attacked him with the traffic cone. While surveillance captured at least 7 kids, on Monday, 2 brothers surrendered to the police. According to NBC 10, there are now 2 more kids who have turned themselves in. Two girls, aged 13 and 14, are the latest to surrender to police in connection to the beating. The 14-year-old turned herself into the Philly police around 11a.m. on Wednesday and the 13-year-old turned herself in a little later. The 13-year-old was released and her lawyer claims she didn't actually attack Lambert, her lawyer says she actually tried to stop the beating and called police when Lambert fell and stayed with him until help came. As for the 14-year-old girl, she was charged with third-degree murder. There is still an investigation going on.
