Rappers Young Thug and Gunna are sitting in jail waiting to see what will happen in their RICO case. Gunna has already pleaded not guilty to conspiracy to violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act, according to Pitchfork. He was denied bond and will be locked up until January 2023. That is when Gunna's trial will begin. Prosecutors believe YSL, Young Thug's Stoner Life Records is a criminal gang. Prosecutors believe Gunna that prosecutors had a commanding role and would “direct their troops” to commit violent acts, according to Billboard.Young Thug was also charged with conspiracy to violate the RICO Act. His hearing on his bond request is on June 2. Many have said YSL isn't a gang. Metro Boomin hopped on social media to explain the same saying it's a registered LLC that has provided jobs to many.
