DaBaby Not Sweating Video of Shooting, Lawyers Say Self-Defense

DaBaby is not worrying about the unseen footage that Rolling Stone dropped this week. The video shows DaBaby shooting 19-year-old Jaylin Craig in a Walmart back in 2018, where Craig died. DaBaby claimed self-defense and his lawyers are telling TMZ the same thing. When the video was released, DaBaby wasn't sweating it when Rolling Stone basically questioned the self-defense claims. DaBaby said Craig and another man had been following him around the store and even threatened the rapper and even flashed a gun. And you know why DaBaby was so chill? It's because that video had been seen when the shooting was investigated. That, according to DaBaby's lawyers. His lawyers, Drew Findling and Marissa Goldberg say the video was reviewed by prosecutors back in 2018 and they concluded DaBaby did indeed, act in self-defense and therefore was not prosecuted for homicide. The video was viewed by a Mecklenburg County judge in connection with a misdemeanor charge for not having the proper permits for his gun.
