This is kind of crazy. Dame Dash is always getting into new projects. However, one, he may have lied about. According to TMZ, Dame has to pay up over $800k for trying to shop a movie that he claimed was his own, but it wasn't! Dame was sued about 3 years ago for defamation and even copyright infringement. Director Josh Webber and the company, Muddy Waters Pictures, made a feature film called "Dear Frank." Dame was apart of the project, initially but then was dropped from it. But that didn't stop Dame from telling people the movie was his. This man was out here shopping promo material to outlets like BET and even changed the name from "Dear Frank" to "The List." By the way, the movie stars Brian White, Claudia Jordan, Lil Durk and others. But Damon sounds like he may have been mad at the company and directors when he was booted from the project because he says the shot the movie at his house and used his equipment and stole the footage to work on without him. Needless to say, a jury went with the actual director and told Damon he needs to pay up.
