Last week while watching the news, the story came up about Orlando and an amusement park ride where a 14-year-old fell. To see the moment when the teen was falling, I quickly grabbed my chest because it was heartbreaking to not only hear, but even see that brief moment. Everyone started to question if the harness was locked, were the seats okay and of course, what happened. The teen was Tyre Sampson, who died from multiple injuries and trauma, according to USA Today. Details about the accident report Tyre came out of his seat when "magnets engaged" during the free-fall ride's rapid descent. The free-fall ride recently opened in Orlando in December. But Florida officials said Tyre was, indeed, wearing his safety harness and it "was still in a down and locked position when the ride stopped." It was such a tragic moment to hear and an investigation is still going on to find out what actually happened to Tyre, who was visiting from Missouri. Condolences to his family.
