There are several artists who are known to do some sampling. But Tory Lanez is definitely known to do it. He even had an album that was full of samples with artists on the tracks with him. Well that sampling is getting him in trouble, again. According to Variety, the estate of the late George Michael are pissed because Tory illegally used a sample from Michael's "Careless Whisper" song. And the crazy thing is, he asked and was denied to use the sample. The estate claims that “Enchanted Waterfall” interpolated the melody and the chorus from the Wham! hit single “Careless Whisper” that was released back in 1984 and was a very dope track! Tory's song was released on his "Alone at Prom" in 2021. Spotify has even removed Tory's track. But remember, Madonna even clapped back on Tory back in 2021 over a sample he used from her song as well. But these are musical greats Tory doesn't want to be in trouble with because those samples could definitely cost him big bucks.
