Well that was pretty quick. Last week, Jussie Smollett was sentenced to 150 days in jail for that hate crime hoax. Then he was put in a the psych ward, where he was recently taken out of. And now, Jussie is basically free. Okay, he isn't completely free. TMZ reports Jussie was released from jail on Wednesday night while he tries to get his sentence for the hoax attack overturned. Yes, his legal team filed an appeal. He he misses future hearings, Jussie could be fined $150,000. His lawyers say when they went to visit Jussie while he was in jail, their client looked like he lost all hope in the justice system. They still believe Jussi is innocent and Jussie's lawyers believe that 5 months sentencing was unconstitutional. We will see what happens now.
