PepsiCo Will No Longer Sponsor the Super Bowl Halftime Show

Fans are always looking forward to see who will make it to Super Bowl and who will walk out as the champions. Congratulations to the recent champs, the L.A. Rams. But with that, people are always looking forward to the halftime show as well. And this year, was the first time that hip hop headlined the show with a dope performance from Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Eminem and Kendrick Lamar. During the halftime shows, we always see Pepsi as the big sponsor. However, after a decade of sponsoring the halftime show, PepsiCo is bowing out, according to Sports Business Journal. Pepsi will remain a sponsor for the league after a decade of having its name attached, just not sponsor the 12 minute performance, or halftime show. As for now, the rights for the halftime show are being pitched with an annual price tag of $40-50 million, with one of the factors being whether the brand is already a league sponsor. So we will see who's logo will be attached next year.
