Former basketball player and now coach for the University of Michigan, Juwan Howard has been suspended for the rest of the regular season. According to TMZ, the head coach was punished for smacking an opposing coach during an altercation over the weekend. At the end of the Michigan vs. Wisconsin game, Howard took a swipe at Badgers assistant Joe Krabbenhoft. However, Howard told the media that he was aggressive because Wisconsin's head coach Greg Gard, put hands on Howard first. And well, we know what that can lead to. As far as Howard, he has been banned for 5 games, which is basically the rest of the regular season. On top of that, Howard was hit with a $40k fine. Gard was also hit with a $10k penalty. Krabbenhoft wasn't fined or suspended.
