It has been, what, 2 years since we've last seen the second season of Donald Glover's "Atlanta" on FX? The show's first season won several awards, but then we had to wait a while for season 2. Then we had and still are waiting for season 3, which, will finally premiere this year. But the good news is that Donald has decided to film both seasons 3 and 4 in the same year, with season 3 kicking off March 24. The bad news is, after season 4, that's a wrap. According to Hip Hop Wired, FX Chairman John Landgraf confirmed the news. “The fourth and final season is slated to debut in the same manner this fall," Landgraf said. Some people suspect it's because Donald inked a big deal with Amazon last year. But maybe there will be something like "Atlanta" when he starts his run with Amazon. Regardless, we can't wait for the next season.
