Actress from "Madea Goes to Jail" In Trouble for PPP Fraud

How crazy is it to be in the movie "Madea Goes to Jail" only to possibly be going in real life. Actress Ion Overman was in that Tyler Perry movie and now she is facing PPP loan charges. According to The Jasmine Brand, is just one of about 10 celebrities who were hit with fraud charges with the PPP loan. Overman teamed with someone else who assisted the celebs by filing fake applications that was more than $3 million in loans. That man, Marck C. Mason Jr. is also facing charges. But Overman does have a business, which, we get why she'd apply for the loan. She is said to be the owner of Bryanston Square Inc., a California business that was founded in 2005. However, there's not much known about her business, but some sources suggest that it is associated with the entertainment industry. Yikes! It's crazy how celebrities found themselves caught up in the PPP schemes.
