Before Nipsey Hussle was killed, he was all about buying back the block and teaching others in his community why that was so important. People listened. Dave East listened. Dave, who not only raps and acts but he is now a business owner as well. He hopped on social media to make the announcement that he just became the owner of his first store, a convenience store in Harlem, where he is from. With his post, Dave gave credit to the late Nipsey, his good friend. In the caption, Dave wrote, “Bought my first store today. I told Nipsey he laid the blueprint for real ones everywhere. Wish Shooter could see this s**t. Coming soon 2022. Couldn’t have made this happen without @queenofharlem The realest!” Congratulations to Dave!
