Nike Files A Lawsuit Against Sketchers Claiming They Stole Nike Designs

Nike definitely has beef with Skechers. Nike is always staying ahead when it comes to their shoe brand, but the company is pissed off at Skechers for duplicating one of their designs. According to Hypebeast, Skechers copied Nike brand patented Air Max 270 and Vapor Max designs. In the lawsuit, Nike claims Skechers is creating a "Skecherized" version of the Nike. But the kicker is that Skechers is calling their design the "Skech-Air Atlas, Skech-Air 92, and so on, when Nike has been used Air for years. Nike even got received patents for the Air Max 270 and Vapor Max. But this isn't the first time the Nike company has been pissed at Skechers because Nike accused Skechers of copying its Free and Flyknit designs back in 2016 with a lawsuit still pending. Nike said they have had enough.
